After much success in Portugal at the Glenmuir Overseas PGA Pro-Am in February Gary is looking to bolster this performance with even more practice ahead of the European Senior Tour season starting in May.

As part of these preparations Gary will head to America as he did in 2014 to spend 10 days in and around Pinehurst. This not only offers Gary the ideal time to practice his game and get sharp but also means he doesn’t have to wear waterproofs, thermals and woolly hats in the process! Ten solid days of golf on some of the most difficult courses that region has to offer will certainly get him used to his new Miura clubs and provide the sharpness he needs before the season proper.

However before he heads to American sunshine, Gary will have a week in North Berwick playing along the ‘Golf Coast’ in Scotland with friends again as practice with the new equipment and to kick start his 2015 preparations. Gary’s decision to go to Scotland has another meaning behind it, from the 8-10^th April Gary will be competing at Frilford Heath in the EuroPro Tour Qualifying School.

In order to supplement a rather sparse looking European Senior Tour calendar Gary has once again decided to play some EuroPro events, having won at Stoke-by-Nayland in 2010. This is vital ahead of beginning the Senior Tour in May and will allow him to play in at least three events (Qualifying School, Celtic Manor, Frilford Heath) before he tees it up back at Celtic Manor for the Wales Senior Open on the European Senior Tour from the 29^th May.
