After an absence of other a month from the main European Senior Tour, the last full event being the WINSTONgolf Senior Open, the Tour returns to action this week for the Prostate Cancer UK Scottish Senior Open held at the stunning Archerfield Links Estate in North Berwick, Scotland.

Currently 11th on the European Senior Tour Order of Merit, Gary Wolstenholme MBE is also competing at Archerfield, getting underway tomorrow (Friday 19th August). The three time European Senior Tour winner hasn't lifted silverware, coming close and losing a playoff earlier this season, since 2012 but will be out to put that statistic right and take a major step closer towards confirming his 2017 playing privileges on tour.

Ever since turning professional Gary has competed in the Scottish Senior event, in all its various guises, for the last 6 years and he has never finished outside the top 20 in any of those tournaments, even finishing 17^th at last years Prostate Cancer UK Scottish Senior Open at Archerfield.

Gary gets underway on Friday 19^th August in the first round at 08.50 from the 10^th tee alongside Steen Tinning as they play in an Alliance Format, both professionals playing alongside an amateur for two days in a Pro-Am before a final single round professional only shoot out for the title.
